    يسرهيئة تحرير مجلة المثنى للعلوم القانونية والسياسية أن تعلن عن صدور المجلد الثاني (العدد الاول) السنة 2025 من مجلتها العلمية المحكمة، والذي يتضمن مجموعة من الأبحاث والدراسات القانونية والسياسية الرصينة، التي تعالج موضوعات راهنة وتُسهم في إثراء الفكر القانوني والسياسي على المستويين الوطني والدولي.

    وتجدد المجلة دعوتها للسادة الباحثين لتقديم اسهاماتهم العلمية، وفق شروط النشر المعتمدة، للمشاركة في الأعداد القادمة.

    Editor-in-Chief's Message:

    The editorial board of the Al-Muthanna Journal of Legal and Political Sciences is pleased to present to readers and researchers the special issue of the proceedings of the Fifth International Conference of the College of Law, Al-Muthanna University, entitled "Legal Confrontation of Violent Extremism," held on April 14-15, 2025.

    This issue is the culmination of the success of the conference, which addressed one of the most important and dangerous phenomena facing societies today, particularly Iraqi society.

    The editorial board was keen to reflect the legal and political perspectives, as well as the social and historical perspectives presented at this conference, in this issue of the journal by publishing solid academic research and studies from inside and outside Iraq, as well as from various universities and ministries in our beloved country.

    We seek this issue to be an important resource for raising legal awareness to combat the phenomenon of violent extremism, and for it to be an important resource for the relevant authorities, foremost among them the legislative authority in our country, represented by the Council of Representatives, to enact the necessary legislation to combat the phenomenon.

    The Editorial Board of the Al-Muthanna Journal for Legal and Political Sciences is pleased to announce the publication of Volume Two (Issue Two) for the year 2025 of its peer-reviewed scholarly journal. This issue includes a selected collection of rigorous legal and political studies prepared by researchers from different universities and academic institutions, addressing current topics that contribute to enriching legal and political scholarship at both the national and international levels. All contributions in this issue have undergone the journal’s established peer-review procedures, in line with the standards of academic rigor, originality, and sound methodology. The journal also reaffirms its commitment to publication ethics, including its policies on conflicts of interest and plagiarism.

    The journal renews its invitation to scholars and researchers to submit their academic contributions in accordance with the approved publication guidelines, for consideration in upcoming issues, noting that the next issue is scheduled for publication on 1 June 2026.
