Social networking sites constitute an ideal environment for spreading the concepts of violent extremism in various segments of society, as these websites have become a virtual world based on speed in publishing data, ease of use and low cost, in addition to the advantage provided by social networking sites to protect the privacy of the publisher, all these characteristics that social networking sites have made it the ideal environment for those with extremist ideology with its several advantages.
Suppose criminal legislation has taken the lead in addressing violent extremism and the consequent crimes against society. In that case, the role of special legislation is no less important than criminal legislation, as reparation or reduction of the damage caused by violent extremism, which is the goal of these special legislations, has a major role in addressing the idea of violent extremism on the one hand, in addition to compensating those who suffered damage.
