Violent extremism is a complex social phenomenon that affects various societies around the world. Violent extremism is characterized by the adoption of extremist ideas or behaviors that lead to the use of violence to achieve political, religious, or social goals. The importance of studying the causes and types of violent extremism is underscored in light of the growing security and political challenges facing countries, as well as its detrimental impact on peace and stability. Violent extremism is a dangerous and negative phenomenon that is not limited to one form, specific type, or specific field, as we find it in various areas of life. It may be religious, political, social, or intellectual extremism. Since extremism is a complex and intertwined phenomenon, it has different types and multiple levels, and it is not limited to the religious field, as it affects all fields.
